2023 Spring Break Camps


Active Start Camp
March 13th – 17th
Arrival Time: 8:45am – 9:00am
Pick Up Time: 10:00am
Location: Willoughby Community Park SE

$100 per player – ages 2018 & 2019 Born

This one hour camp is an introductory experience for players born 2018 and 2019. Our LUSA
Staff Coaches are Active Start Certified and are passionate in creating a safe, fun and inclusive
environment to our youngest soccer members as they explore the basic skills of soccer and
team play. This co-ed camp includes physical literacy, game play, teamwork and cooperation
along with activities that emphasize joy for the sport.

Requirements: Players will receive a LUSA Camp T-Shirt upon arrival of day one. Each player
needs to have shin-guards and cleats (or runners) and should wear athletic shorts or pants.
For this program, it is required that a parent or guardian stays at the field while observing from
outside the fenced area.

Soccer & Activities Camp

$190 per player – ages 2017 to 2011 born

This three hour camp is for players born 2017 to 2011 (U6 to U12). The groups are lead by our
LUSA Staff Coaches who are passionate in creating a safe, fun and inclusive environment that
varies between soccer specific and physical literacy activities . Depending on the registration
each season, this camp may be grouped separately or co-ed. The groups may include blended
age groups or groups of one age group only. All groups that are blended will fall in line with
the same stage of development to ensure the best learning environments are provided.

Requirements: Players will receive a LUSA Camp T-Shirt upon arrival of day one. Each player
needs to have shin-guards and cleats and must wear athletic shorts or pants. Forthis program,
it is not required that a parent or guardian stays at the field.

Development Camp

This three hour camp is for players born 2015 to 2011 (U8 to U12). The groups are lead by our

focuses heavily on soccer specific skills such as ball mastery, small sided game play,
shooting/finishing and more. The groups are separated between boys and girls and may
include blended age groups or groups of one age group only. All groups that are blended will
fall in line with the same stage of development to ensure the best learning environments are
provided.

Requirements: Players will receive a LUSA Camp T-Shirt upon arrival of day one. Each player
needs to have shin-guards and cleats and must wear athletic shorts or pants. Forthis program,

Goalkeeper Development Camp
March 13th – 17th

$210 per player – ages 2015 to 2011 born

This three hour camp is for players born 2015 to 2011 (U8 to U12). The groups are lead by our
LUSA Staff Goalkeeper Coaches who are passionate in creating a safe, fun and inclusive
environment that focuses heavily on goalkeeping, The first half of the day is a focus on technical
skills and fundamentals of goalkeeping and the second half of the day is in-game specific
learnings. The groups may be co-ed and may include blended age groups or groups of one age
group only. All groups that are blended will fall in line with the same stage of development to
ensure the best learning environments are provided. For goalkeepers, we will keep the U10-
U12 goalkeepers together and the U8 and U9 together.

Requirements: Players will receive a LUSA Camp T-Shirt upon arrival of day one. Each player
needs to have shin-guards and cleats and must wear athletic shorts or pants. Goalkeepers will
need to bring their own goalkeeping gloves to each session. For this program, it is not required
that a parent or guardian stays at the field.

This two hour camp is for players born 2010 to 2007 (U13 to U16). The groups are lead by our
LUSA Staff Coaches and are dedicated to individual skill development and challenging players
to enhance their knowledge of the 11v11 game. The groups are separated between boys and
girls and may include blended age groups or groups of one age group only. All groups that are
blended will fall in line with the same stage of development to ensure the best learning
environments are provided. This camp embraces the fourth stage of development in the LTPD
pathway: Train to Train.

needs to have shin-guards and cleats and must wear athletic shorts or pants. Forthis program,
