Chelsey Hannesson

As a player Chelsey has experience in the Women’s Premier Soccer League with the Spokane Black Widows. MWSL – Metro Women’s Soccer League – 9 Seasons National Champion 2011 and the MWSL Most Valuable Player 2014. She hold 3 Gold, 8 Silver and 2 Bronze Canadian Soccer National Championship medals and was selected for Canadian National Team Pool (NTC West) as well as a glittering collegiate career at Eastern Washington University – NCAA Division 1 (Full Scholarship).

Chelsey comes with an equally outstanding coaching resume with 10 years of coaching already under her belt and is one of only 4 females in Canada to have achieved the highest level of certification, that being the Canada Soccer A Licence. She is also a BC Soccer Learning Facilitator for the BC Soccer Coach Education Program.

Nick Soolsma

Starting at a young age, Nick began playing soccer in youth academies such as FC Volendam and PSV Eindhoven in The Netherlands.
He made his debut as a professional soccer player for HFC Haarlem in 2007.

In 2011 Nick signed for Toronto FC playing in the MLS. In his first year (2011) he was awarded having the most assists in the team (8) and scoring 3 goals. In his second year, he played a major role in reaching the semifinal for the CONCACAF Champions League through his assist and winning goal against LA Galaxy (Representing David Beckham in the squad at that time).
After his 2 years for Toronto FC, he went back to play professionally in the Netherlands for SBV Excelsior and in Australia for South Melbourne FC.

Nick Soolsma is overseeing the age groups starting from U11 – U14 and is BCSPL Head Coach for the LUSA 2008 Intake Boys Team

Nick holds a Canada Soccer National B-licence.
