Current player with Surrey United Masters team, played premier ladies until 2014, played with the Vancouver Ladysixers in 2000, various PCSL teams during 2001-2006. Also played on the Canadian team for the Gaelic Football International (World Cup) in 2005 that took place in Ireland.

Coaching since 2000 throughout the lower mainland with various teams.


Chelsey Hannesson

Chelsey comes with an equally outstanding coaching resume with 10 years of coaching already under her belt and is one of only 4 females in Canada to have achieved the highest level of certification, that being the Canada Soccer A Licence. She is also a BC Soccer Learning Facilitator for the BC Soccer Coach Education Program and recently added the Canadian Soccer Children’s License Certification to her credentials.

Azad Palani

Assistant Technical Director & BCSPL 2008 & 2009 Boys Coach – [email protected]

Azad has been coaching with LUSA for 8 years and in total since 2007.

As a BC Soccer Learning Facilitator Azad runs all of LUSAs in-house coach certifications programs TD DiplomaCurrently on the Youth Licence

Passionate and caring, Azad is deeply involved in the fabric of LUSA with his roles of ATD of LUSA U15 teams, Adults & Skills Centre coordinator, our U12 BCSPL Development Program coordinator (and now team coach), Men’s Premier Coach and Women’s Div 2 Coach

Steve Dormer
