LUSA Alumnus Brady Chapman signs with STU Tommies Soccer Program

Head Coach John-Ryan Morrison has gone with back-to-back recruit from BC with the latest announcement of Brady Chapman joining the Tommies Men’s Soccer squad.

Chapman, from the lower mainland of British Colombia, heads to Fredericton in late August and is excited at the prospect of the University student life.

“I chose STU since it has a fantastic soccer program and the academic concentration I was looking for,” mentions the Langley United product.  “STU offers a very high standard of education and the opportunity to be a successful student athlete.”

Being a goalkeeper comes with special traits on the backend of the field and Brady is looking forward to bringing his brand between the pipes.

“You can expect me to bring a lot of passion, enthusiasm and hard work. I cannot wait to be a part of the Tommies soccer program.”

Coach Morrison identified a need that Chapman may bring forward.

“We had an immediate need for a rookie keeper capable of pushing for a starting role and I think Brady has all the attributes to be that guy,” lauds Morrison.  “He is good with the ball at his feet, he commands the box on crosses and he is vocal.”

The bench boss continues to recruit from coast to coast and lands another solid player in Chapman who should make the transition easily to the ACAA.

“It is a big step to move coast to coast but I think he has the right attitude to be a successful student-athlete at STU.”

Brady is the latest addition to the Men’s Soccer team for the 2023-2024 season after the announcements of Kiran Hollman Prichard, Laurent Lambert, Oliver Altemeyer, and Bright Olaonis.

The 2023 ACAA Soccer schedule will be announced in May, with Season Passes on sale in August and training camp opening in late August for the STU Soccer teams.
